1. Setting up your account

The first step is to visit unicle.com and press on Log in in the top left corner. 

If you are logging into the UniApp for the first time, you will be prompted to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) using the Google Authenticator app. Here's how to do it:

1. Download the Google Authenticator App:

   • If you haven't already, download and install the Google Authenticator app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

2. Open the UniApp:

   • Launch the UniApp on your device.

3. Setup 2FA:

   • Follow the on-screen instructions to begin the 2FA setup process.
   • You will see a QR code on your screen. 

4. Configure Google Authenticator:

   • Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.
   • Tap the "+" button to add a new account.
   • Select "Scan a QR code" and scan the QR code displayed in the UniApp.

5. Enter Verification Code:

   • Once you scan the QR code, Google Authenticator will generate a 6-digit verification code.
   • Enter this code into the UniApp to complete the 2FA setup.

6. Completion:

   • After entering the verification code, you will receive a confirmation that 2FA has been successfully set up.
   • From now on, you will need to use Google Authenticator to generate a verification code each time you log in to the UniApp unless you check the "Remember this device" checkbox during login. Checking this option will allow you to bypass the 2FA process on that device for future logins, adding convenience while maintaining security on your trusted devices.  

Once you press on Log In, you will be directed to another window where you will be prompted to enter your email and password if you have an existing account, and then press on LOG IN.

In case you don't have an existing account, press on Sign Up and enter your email and your password. Then press on Sign Up button.

After signing up for the first time, you will receive an email from charge bee regarding your personal details that you have entered. 

2. Access Universe landing page

After signing in to the UniApp, you will be directed to the Universe, from where you will be able to access the all the Unicle applications you are subscribed to! 

As a first-time user, you will have be able to:

• Access the UniApp omics explorer
• Access to Web apps
• Access Data portals you have access to custom configurations of the UniApp
• Access to the Help section

2.1 UniApp

By clicking on UniApp, a new page will be opened, showing the versions of UniApp 1.0, UniApp 2.0, and UniApp 2.0+ have been developed by now. Depending on the version desired, click on the button to enter the app.

2.2 Web apps

Unicle has embedded multiple Web apps which are useful tools to further cellular & molecular research. By clicking on the Web apps you will be redirected to the new page and see the multiple Web apps. You can see only the Web apps you have access to.

2.3 Data portals

Our data portals make scientific data available through an easy-to-use interface. Our clients will be able to share their data via the data portal, whereas users of the data portal will be able to interactively explore the data, and (optionally) download data. 2.4 Help

By clicking on the Help button, you be directed to a new page showing three options:

1. Knowledge Base: This button takes you to the Knowledge base where we host manuals on all of our applications. By browsing the manuals you not only learn how to execute the analyses on UniApp, but also getting accquinted with background bioinfomatic knowledge behind each analysis.
2. Contact us: You can submit any questions or suggestions you might have via our ticketing system. To submit a ticket click on the Contact us button.
3. Schedule a call: In case you need more information regarding Unicle, the app or possible collabration you can schedule a meeting with our professional team by clicking on Schedule a call button.
