2. Atlas module page
After clicking on the Atlas button on the landing page, you open the desired blood sample type and then open the desired cell type. You can learn about the different cell types and their possible abnormalities by viewing their morphology, annotations and reading additional information.
2.1 Viewing cells
When clicking on the Select button of an image of the selected cell type, this image is enlarged and its description is displayed. Click the "x" in the upper right corner of the enlarged image to close the selected image.
You can scroll down on the enlarged image to see the name and description of the image, along with additional information on the type of abnormality.
When clicking on the Annotate button, the displayed image renders with annotations (arrows and text) on it. To hide the annotations, click "Annotate" for a second time.
You can make annotations and download the figure when clicking on the "Details" button:
To draw an arrow, click on the Draw arrow button and click and drag on the image to form the arrow. To stop drawing arrows, click on the Select button. Also, the color and size of the arrow can be changed.
To add text to your image, click on the Insert button. A textbox with the text "Text" will appear on the image. Double click on the text so it is highlighted and start typing your own text. You can also click and drag the textbox to place it anywhere on the image. Also, the color and size of the text can be changed.
Make sure to click on the Save to database button to save your newly made annotations. If you would like to erase your annotations, click on the Clear annotations button
If you want to download the images, click on the Download images button.
